This is an extremely rare and delicious coffee from Finca La Esperanza, in El Salvador. The farm is owned by the Pacas family, whose farming practices & welfare for their employees is legendary. The Bernardina variety was discovered when one of their manager's noticed something different about some particular trees. The coffee cherries had unusual tropical fruit flavours and after careful processing and DNA testing they discovered it was a completely new varietal. We offer you this very limited, exquisite coffee with just about 500kg available in the world. We bought 30kg in total and this is our 2nd and final release - just in time for Australia Day.
